Monday night Jared and I went out to dinner in the NODA area of Charlotte to a place called Heist Brewery. This place is definitely worth going to if you're ever in the area. Their food is served tapas style, which can be a struggle for me since I hate sharing food. There's just a little voice in my head that says "back off bitch this is my food - get you're own!" However, against my will - I shared. Oh and their beer is pretty good too. Back to the food - we got lobster mac and cheese, totchos (tater tot nachos!), and hot wings. Hands down tie between the totchos and hot wings - the lobster mac and cheese was alright too.
Sooo because I'm such a fatty I didn't really get a chance to take pictures of the food before I ate it. I know I'm really sucking at this whole blog thing. But as you can see we ate ALL of it, therefore it had to be good. Actually I usually clean my plate whether its delicious or just mediocre, but that's neither here nor there. Please go to this place if you are ever in that area, and you don't mind sharing your food.
P.S. I just realized it looks like I was eating at this place alone. Was I? You'll never know.
